Bishop David Class of 1968 donates over $92,000 to Holy Cross for scholarships…what an inspiration!

The Bishop David Class of 1968 celebrated their 55th reunion in grand style. Approximately 40 alums attended Churchill Down’s Millionaires Row during the day where Dr. Danielle Wiegandt congratulated them for being such a connected class and for their great generosity. The group gathered with their spouses Friday night at The Cafe to continue the celebration. A highlight of the evening was when they presented a “check” to Holy Cross High School for $80,530 to establish an endowed scholarship in memory of J. Bryan Smith, BD ‘68 and a scholarship in memory of Father John Caskey. The gifts continued to pour in, and the class has raised over $92,000. What an inspiration! These scholarships will make a difference for many students for years to come. THANK YOU BISHOP DAVID CLASS OF 1968!!
