Welcome to Bishop David Alumni Association website.
The Bishop David Alumni Association Inc, a non profit 501c3 organization, will provide educational and charitable grants (gifts and funds) to help support Catholic Education both elementary and secondary, in Southwest Jefferson County. These gifts and funds will help ensure families that wish a Catholic education for their children are available therefore sustaining Catholic education in SWJC. We will also provide financial and “time and talent” support to Holy Cross High School in any endeavor deemed necessary by their administration and approved by our Board of Directors.
In the Bishop David spirit of giving we are asking all alumni to please give by joining the Alumni Association and help us fulfil our statement of purpose and helping families that want a Catholic education for their children but cannot afford it get the help needed. We can truly make a difference in the lives of children and families the way our Catholic education influenced our lives. This is the pride we have and the legacy we wish to leave.

2024 Crosier Award Winner
Kailee Hamlin
This is Third year the BD Alumni Association has bestowed the “Crosier Award”. The Crosier is a part of BD coat of arms and along with the Mitre and Cross are symbolic of the patron of the school, Bishop John B. David. It was also the name of the school yearbook and is a symbol in the Holy Cross Coat of Arms. This award truly represents the roots and the proud traditions of Bishop David and High School High Schools.
Previous honorees include: 2022-Marco Vazquez & 2023-Madison Hall
The award is presented to the graduating student whose persistence, dedication and perseverance reflect the motto of Bishop David High School
“Let Nothing Stop the Sons and Daughters of David”
This year’s recipient of the Crosier Award has been active in many clubs and organizations including a member of National Honor Society, KUNA, KYA and Guild Council. The honoree has persevered through many obstacles and is always calm and cheerful. She is kind to all she meets and is mature beyond her years. She is dedicated and hard-working and will succeed in whatever endeavor she decides to take.
We are pleased to Announce the recipient of the 2024 Bishop David Alumni Association Crosier Award is Kailee Hamlin
Along with the award, we are proud to present Madison with $1000 to be used, as she wishes, for the next chapter of her life.
On behalf of all BD Alumni we congratulate Kailee and her family and welcome her to our family and wish her the best in all her future endeavors.
